This one makes people uncomfortable.

You are allowed to change.

You are allowed to want different things now.

Different friends.
Different priorities.
Different standards.

You do not owe permanent loyalty to an outdated version of yourself.

But many of us stay stuck because we think growth is betrayal.

We keep old habits because they’re familiar.
Old circles because they’re expected.
Old identities because people recognize us there.

That’s not loyalty.

That’s fear.

Growth requires grief.

Some things have to end for better things to begin.

That includes old versions of you.

Let them go.
